So true, but in my case it’s when someone touches my iphone!! hands off
My next book, Yoga Cures, launches in less than 2 weeks. It’s a topic I’ve been keen on spreading the word about for as long as I can remember being on the planet, since the time I was a little kid having strong feelings that we are all connected and here to help and heal each other. Thankfully, I found something to do in my life with that feeling.
We often forget that we have the power to prevent, heal, and cure a lot of multi-factorial things that get in the way of us living our most inspired and capable life.
Yoga can help. But for it to work, you need to practice with ease, consistency, and with a focused sense of attention. Forcing your body into poses or practicing with anxiety only will get you more tension — and probably injured. But when you practice with ease, all the movements become more fluid, the mind is able to quiet and focus, and a whole lot of space opens up for our bodies to repair, sustain, and heal.
Once the movements become a moving meditation we are able to plug back into our big source of sustainable energy that has been there all along. It just may have been covered up by our habits and experiences.
In the cases where yoga doesn’t specifically cure an illness or disease, it sure can make our circumstances a whole lot easier to handle with grace and ease.
Has yoga cured you? Do you think yoga can cure? I’d love to hear your stories and experiences.
Deep breaths,
Tara
